Daniel C. Peterson

Daniel C. Peterson earned his Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is a professor of Islamic Studies and Arabic at Brigham Young University. Peterson is the author of several books and numerous articles on Islamic and Latter-day Saint topics–including a biography entitled Muhammad: Prophet of God. He is the founder of the Interpreter Foundation and the initial editor-in-chief of Interpreter: A Journal of Mormon Scripture.

Daniel contributed a chapter to Perspectives on Mormon Theology: Apologetics.
