Amber Choruby Whiteley
Amber Choruby Whiteley is a doctoral candidate in the counseling psychology program in the Educational Psychology Department at the University of Utah. She is currently an instructor and researcher for the university. Her research interests center around the topic of social justice. Her past research topics have involved women’s issues, microaggressions experienced by the LGBT population in a religious setting, cultural humility, and childhood sexual assault. Amber became interested in social justice research after serving low-income families in St. Louis, Missouri.
