Report from FAIR 2026 August 11 2026

The 2026 FAIR Conference 2026 was held August 5–7, 2026, at the Thanksgiving Point Showbarn in Lehi, Utah. Greg Kofford Books was a Gold Sponsor of the event and had the opportunity to showcase 45 of our titles across different areas of Mormon Studies, including apologetics, scripture study, doctrine, and Church history.

Demand was high and we ran out of several of our titles by the end of the conference. Our best-selling books at the event were:

1. After Happiness: Living with Faith in a Time of Crisis
2. Joseph Smith’s Polygamy: Toward a Better Understanding
3. The Lost 116 Pages: Reconstructing the Book of Mormon's Missing Stories
4. A Barn Full of Angels: The Spiritual World and Pioneer Journey of Zerah Pulsipher

Three of our authors presented during the conference:

• Brian Hales on "Joseph Smith: A Reluctant Polygamist"
• Thomas Alexander on "The 1844–1847 Succession Crisis"
• Brant Gardner on "Can I Trust the Book of Mormon? My Half-Century Quest to Answer that Question"

Brant also stopped by our table several times and had the opportunity to talk about his books with conference attendees.

FAIR, which stands for Faithful Answers, Informed Response, is a nonprofit apologetics organization that provides answers to questions and criticisms about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Besides hosting their annual conference, they publish articles, podcasts, videos, and other resources for those interested in Latter-day Saint apologetics.
