S. Matthew Stearmer

S. Matthew Stearmer is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology at Ohio State University. Prior to Ohio State, Stearmer graduated from Brigham Young University with dual master’s degrees in geography and sociology. He has been a principal investigator on several prominent grants including two with the National Science Foundation. His research interests are primarily focused on access to health care, gender equality, and social movements.

Matthew contributed a chapter to Voices for Equality: Ordain Women and Resurgent Mormon Feminism.
