Richard L. Bushman

Richard L. Bushman is Gouverneur Morris Professor of History Emeritus at Columbia University and former Howard W. Hunter Chair of Mormon Studies at Claremont Graduate University. His books include Joseph Smith and the Beginnings of Mormonism and Joseph Smith: Rough Stone Rolling.

Richard is the author of On the Road with Joseph Smith: An Author’s Diary and co-editor of War & Peace in Our Time: Mormon Perspectives and Parallels and Convergences: Mormon Thought and Engineering Vision. He has also contributed a chapter to The Expanded Canon: Perspectives on Mormonism and Sacred Texts.
