Joseph L. Price is the Genevieve Shaul Connick Professor of Religious Studies at Whittier College. He is the co-editor of New and Enlarged Handbook of Christian Theology, A New Handbook of Christian Theologians, and co-author of Tillich (Abingdon Pillars of Theology).

Joseph contributed a chapter to Mormonism at the Crossroads of Philosophy and Theology: Essays in Honor of David L. Paulsen.
