Debra Elaine Jenson

Debra Elaine Jenson is an assistant professor of communication at Utah State University in Logan. Her research areas include social movements and how they impact public policy, with an emphasis in the early environmental movement. She also studies the representation of women and people with disabilities in popular culture. She has presented research at academic conferences and ComicCon. Jenson serves as a member of the Executive Board of Ordain Women and chairs the Communication Committee, helping craft materials for public release and private communication with LDS Church officials. She is an active member of the LDS Church and is especially fond of girls’ camp.

Debra contributed a chapter to Voices for Equality: Ordain Women and Resurgent Mormon Feminism.
